Çevrimiçi eğitim, Covid-19 pandemisinin 'normal' mimarlık eğitimi üzerindeki olumsuz etkilerine karşı hızlı bir yanıttı. Ama aynı zamanda mimari tasarımın dijital teknolojilerle eklemlenmesine hizmet eden uygun bir araçtı. Bununla birlikte, çevrimiçi eğitim öncelikle mesafelerle ilgili değildir, ancak küresel ölçekte kitle iletişim araçlarına bağlıdır. Abstract
The online education was a rapid response against the negative effects of the Covid-19 pandemic upon the ‘normal’ education of architecture. But at the same time it was also a proper instrument which served to the articulation of architectural design with digital technologies. However the online education is primarily not concerned with distances, but it depends upon mass media on a global scale. It also creates a comfort zone both for students and academicians by virtue of its own paradoxical nature.
On the other hand, the academic precariat has to interrogate the online education in a context which is built by the visual domination of digital culture’s image bombardment. Actually the online education is a trivet which consists of the student, the academician and the media in between. So for now it has to be the epicenter of a debate which is going to problematise the late capitalist industrialisation of the university according to the American model, and the elimination of the tactile in architectural design process via digital techniques.
