Çeşmeler, tarihi, kültürel, mimari miras ve kimlik oluşumu açısından kentsel ve kırsal yaşam için çok değerlidir. Ancak çeşmelerin eski işlevlerini yitirmesi, plansız yapılaşması, zamanla tahrip olması, yanlış onarımlar, ilgisizlik ve bakımsızlık gibi nedenler çeşmelerin yok olmasına, susuz kalmasına ya da özgün görünümlerini kaybetmesine neden olmaktadır. Çalışma kapsamında Kırklareli Kültür Mirası Envanteri kapsamında değerlendirilen Kırklareli merkez ve ilçelerine bağlı köylerde bulunan Osmanlı dönemine ait dokuz çeşme fotoğraflama ve rölöve teknikleri kullanılarak belgelenmiştir. Ardından literatür taraması ve analiz çalışmaları ile anılan çeşmeler, sahip oldukları değerlerle korunabilmeleri için konum ve kullanım durumları, tarihçeleri, mimari özellikleri (plan, cephe, yapım teknikleri ve malzeme özellikleri) ve koruma sorunları başlıkları altında değerlendirilmiştir.
Abstract
Fountains are very valuable for urban and rural life in terms of historical, cultural, architectural heritage and formation of identity. However, the reasons such as the loss of the previous functions of the fountains, unplanned construction, destruction over time, wrong repairs, indifference and neglect cause the fountains to disappear, to become dehydrated or to lose their original appearance. Within the scope of the study, nine fountains belonging to the Ottoman period in the villages of Kırklareli center and its districts, which were evaluated within the scope of the Kırklareli Cultural Heritage Inventory, were documented by using photography and survey techniques. Afterwards, the fountains mentioned with literature review and analysis studies are evaluated under the titles of location and usage status, history, architectural features (plan, facade, construction techniques and material properties) and conservation problems in order to protect them with their values.
