2017 yılındaki 58. sayımızda Mücella Yapıcı ile aşağıdaki sorulara yanıt aradığımız bir söyleşi gerçekleştirdik: İstanbul makro ölçekte planlanırken mega projelere geçiş süreci nasıl yaşandı? Bu geçiş sürecinin siyasi ve ekonomik açıdan kırılma noktaları nelerdir? Bu sayımızda içinden geçtiğimiz pandemi sürecinde bir kent sağlığı sorunu olarak mega projelerin anlamını sorgulamaya çalışırken Yapıcı'dan güncel bir değerlendirme istedik.

Abstract

In our 58th issue in 2017, we had an interview with Mücella Yapıcı seeking the answers to the following questions: How did the transition process into the mega projects when planning Istanbul at a macro scale happened? What are the breaking points of this transition process in terms of politics and economics? When we try to question in this issue the meaning of the mega projects as an urban health problem during this pandemic we are all passing through, we asked Yapıcı for an up to date review.
