Ulusal Mimarlık Sergisi Katalogları ve toplumsal değişkenler bağlamında 2000'ler Türkiye'sini konu alan makale, mimarlık açısından eğilimleri analiz etmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Çalışmanın zamansal odağını 2000-2010 yılları arasındaki dönemsel özellikler nedeniyle önemli bir dönüşümün başlangıcı, veri kompleksini ise Ulusal Mimarlık Sergisi Katalogları oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmanın odağında kataloglarda yapı kategorisinde ödül alan ve aday gösterilen projeler yer almaktadır. Mimari formlar, toplumun sosyal ve kültürel bir yansıması olarak gelişmektedir. Bu bağlamda kataloglarda yer alan yapılar, formlarını oluşturan biçimlendirme yaklaşımlarıyla tanımlanmakta ve dönemin sosyal ve kültürel ortamını betimleyen olaylarla ilişkilendirilmektedir. Örnek yapılarla desteklenen, toplumsal olanla mekânsal olanı örtüştüren ve ikisi arasındaki somut ve anlamlı ilişkiyi göstermeye çalışan böyle bir okuma ile Türkiye Mimarlığı'nın 2000-2010 yıllarındaki eğilimleri üzerine genel bir değerlendirme yapmak mümkün olmuştur.

Abstract

The article about the National Architecture Exhibition Catalogs and social variables in the context of the 2000s Turkey aims to analyze the trends in terms of architecture. The temporal focus of the study is the beginning of an important transformation due to the periodic features between 2000-2010, and the National Architecture Exhibition Catalogs is the data complex. The focus of the study is on projects that are awarded and nominated in the category of construction in the catalogs. Architectural forms evolve as a social and cultural reflection of society. In this context, the buildings in the catalogs are defined by the shaping approaches that compose their forms and are associated with events that describe the social and cultural environment of the period. With such a reading supported by sample structures; coinciding with social and the spatial and making an effort to show the tangible and significant relationship between the two; it was possible to make a general assessment on the tendencies of Turkey Architecture in 2000-2010.
