İki yıllık pandemi kesintisinin ardından Mimarlar Odası İstanbul Büyükkent Şubesi tarafından 18 Temmuz-12 Ağustos 2022 tarihleri arasında düzenlenen XV. Mimarlar Odası İstanbul Şubesi tarafından 18 Temmuz-12 Ağustos 2022 tarihleri arasında düzenlenen Kent Düşleri atölyelerinin ana teması “Kentsel Boşluk” olarak belirlendi.
Farklı üniversitelerden 80 öğrenci ve 44 danışmanın katıldığı bu verimli atölye çalışmalarında kentsel boşluk kavramı çeşitli yönleriyle tartışıldı ve çok çeşitli işler üretildi.
Resmi açılışlar ve tematik sunumlarla başlayan atölye çalışmaları, sanat, felsefe, şehir planlama ve sinema gibi farklı alanlardan uzmanların verdiği on bir seminerle devam etti.
Bu seminerlerle zenginleşen atölye çalışmaları, özellikle ikinci haftadan itibaren her grubun kendi dinamiği ve yöntemiyle şekillenen bir süreçle devam etti. Öğrencilerin kendi belirledikleri grup isimleri A Grubu, Parlayan Yıldızlar, Boşluğa Sığmayanlar, Uzay Avcıları ve Rolling Stones oldu. Bu isimler aynı zamanda her grubun belirlenen içerik ve yöntemini de yansıtıyordu.
Öğrencilerin bir gün boyunca farklı disiplinlerle temas etmelerini sağlamak, onları sanata ve birbirlerine yakınlaştırmak amacıyla stencil, heykel, video, dans ve illüstrasyonu içeren 'Ortak Atölye Çalışmaları' günlük etkinlikler şeklinde gerçekleştirildi.
Atölyenin çıktıları olan sergi ve atölye kitapçığı, Kasım 2022'de Mimarlar Odası İstanbul Şubesi'nin Karaköy'deki binasında izleyicilerle buluşacak.

After a two-years pandemic interruption, the main theme of XV. Urban Dreams workshops, organized by the Turkish Chamber of Architects Istanbul Branch between 18 July-12 August 2022, has been determined as “Urban Void”.
During this fertile workshops where 80 students from different universities and 44 mentors participated, the concept of urban void, had been discussed within its various aspects and a wide variety of works had been produced.
Workshops, started with official openings and thematic presentations and followed by eleven seminars given by experts from different fields such as art, philosophy, urban planning and cinema.
The workshops, enriched by these seminars, continued with a process shaped by the dynamics and method of each group, especially from the second week. The group names determined by the students themselves were A Group, Shining Stars, Those Who Can’t Fit in the Void, Space Hunters and Rolling Stones. These names also reflected the specified content and method of each group.
‘Joint Workshops’, including stencil, sculpture, video, dance and illustration was carried out in the form of daily activities in order to enable students to come into contact with different disciplines and to bring them closer to art and to each other during one day.
The exhibition and a workshop booklet, as the outputs of the workshop, will meet the audience in the building of the Turkish Chamber of Architects Istanbul Branch in Karaköy in November 2022.
